Today we celebrate the life of one we hold so dear
Whose life was blessed with so much love, with thoughtfulness and cheer.
An active, vibrant child she was, and grew up just the same
So diligent in service but she never sought for fame.
Her kindness and compassion were so plain for all to see
And to her loyalty and love, her friends will all agree.
She cared for both her parents with tenderness so rare
Nieces, nephews, brothers all have felt her loving care.
She leaves for us a legacy that we should all reflect
It’s selfless service, truth and grace, compassion and respect
She also leaves a legacy of faith and hope so strong
That soon God’s trumpet call we’ll hear, her sleep should not be long
Then we shall meet her in that home beside the glassy sea
Forever with our Lord to dwell, from pain and death set free.
